Event Preparation Appointment

Approximately 120 days prior to your event our Event Coordinator will contact you to book an Event Preparation Appointment. This appointment is booked 90-120 days before your Event to finalize your Event Layout(s)/Plot Plan, Event Flow Plan, and other Important Documents to help your event run as smoothly as possible.

 Outdoor Furnishing Layout Examples

These are multiple examples of how the outdoor furnishings may be arranged. They are examples to help you visualize the best flow for your event.

Blank Layout to Design Your Event Layout

Please use one of these Blank Layout/Plot Plans to design how you would like to have ceremony seating, table and chairs layout, location of DJ, location of Bar, Arch placement and any other outdoor furnishing locations.

If you are having a ceremony seating please indicate where you would like the tables placed during the ceremony and allow access for decorating. Our crew will be moving the tables and chairs from the initial / ceremony layout to the reception layout after your ceremony ends. So you will want to make sure to complete 2 full layouts to turn in at your Event Preparation Appointment. You are also welcome to email them to Info@TheOldHomestead.org.

Event Flow Plan

This is a sheet to help you plan the flow of your event.

Some items on the sheet may not be applicable to your event - please feel free to leave those line items blank. On the other hand, we may have missed something that is a part of your event - so we added a few blank line items for you to be able to write it in. If there is anything additional that you want to make sure we know about please add it to the Additional Notes section at the bottom of the page. Please bring a completed copy to your Event Preparations Meeting or email it to Info@TheOldHomestead.org.
